How I Made Attack! Deluxe

Side note,

The game is out now. I forgot to set it to published. Click here to play!

Click here to play Attack Lite (not deluxe, just helping out any mobile users lol)

By the way, the shop is being worked on right now so expect an update tommorow or the day after.

Anyways, ACTUAL post below:

I've wanted to do a postmortem post for a while so this game is perfect for it because it was stupidly difficult to make.

Let's start with music. I used Chrome Music Maker to make the music.  I am so skilled. I was going to make a cool flute remix of the original theme with the same notes, but I couldn't get it so I just made an epic remix (with bongos in the background too).  I made some shop music, and a handful of other thingimajigs.

How did I make the game's design? I did. That's how.  Hey Scratchers out there! Does this look confusing?

It was a pain to make any of this code work. Non-Scratchers may be like "what in the everliving heck am I looking at rn". As a Scratcher with 3 years of coding experience, this is probably the most complex image of Scratch code I have ever seen.

TIME TO MENTION SOME AWESOMEn't BUGS!

-You can walk midair on the corners of the pool

-You can get the shark out of bounds on level 3 and 6

-The shark can get stuck inside a wall for a few seconds

-You can get stuck on the edge of the wall somehow (occured many times to me playing level 6)

-For some reason, pressing ENTER when near a toy will show the guiding lines (only works when you didn't pick up the toy)

-The shark's fin is off-sync from the shark's hitbox

Phew, that's enough bugs to look at. How about I mention how I messed up the ladder mechanics a billion times? No... How about we talk about how I almost lost my mind over the pool filter animation? No... Ah! Got it! The shark thing on the title screen was so annoying to make. It kept on going off-screen after a few minutes because something wasn't timed right in the animation and it just bugged the whole thing out. Yeah, very fun. Welp, I think I'm done. Does anyone know if/how you can change the file size from KB to MB on windows? I'm too lazy to divide by 1000.

Any Scratchers out there know what this does?
